About me
My personal journey in pursuit of a Healthly and Functional body
After studying classical ballet at the Prague Dance Conservatory and a three-year engagement with the ballet ensemble of the National Theatre in Prague, my career as a dancer was cut short due to a series of injuries. These injuries prevented me from continuing in my dance career. My chapter in dance closed after completing my university studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (HAMU).
From there, my path shifted from dance to sports and the landscape. The elegance of golf course design, the connection between sport and nature, led me to further study golf architecture in England. I became a member of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects and discovered a new way to blend functionality with harmony, this time in the natural environment of golf courses. After completing my studies in England, I founded an architectural studio that focuses on various types of sports facilities and structures.
I am an athlete at heart and in spirit. Together with my wife, we founded a biathlon club, which has since grown into a major sports organization. Our coaching methods have yielded results for young athletes. Personally, I engage in cross-country skiing, long-distance running, and cycling. I never stopped seeking new challenges. In 2007, I underwent the so-called "Initiation" by Richard Rohr. The combination of physical and spiritual worlds led me to the work I do today—Structural Integration.
I completed the training in the Rolfing method, also known as the Rolf Method after its founder, Dr. Ida P. Rolf, Ph.D., in 2024 at the American Guild for Structural Integration under the guidance of Nilce Silveira and David Davis. This technique allows me to bring together all of my life experiences.
Structural Integration therapy seeks to balance the body along its vertical axis, finding equilibrium between the muscles at the front and back of the body, between the right and left sides, and between the deep internal muscles and the external surface movement structures. Through the mobilization of soft tissues, particularly fascia, the body can rediscover balance in its movement structures, allowing each movement to be natural and in harmony with gravity and the ideal biomechanics of the human body.
In my practice, I draw upon my knowledge of ballet, sports, architecture, and Christian meditation. With each client, I strive to find a way to achieve balance between body and mind, between movement and stillness.
Structural Integration is not just my work; it is a way of helping others find their own balance, strength, and freedom of movement without pain. Every day, I live what I teach—to be in motion yet at peace. To live in harmony with oneself, the body, the mind, and the spirit.
